There are tonnes of cupcake's recipe ..Tonnes of people selling theirs in the cyberspace. Tonnes of design and type. Mini ,small,medium,large..wot not. Tonnes of frosting's recipe..one with mint,one with cream cheese, Yogurt, arghh...thats lot.



Every night before I hit my sack, without fail , I will surf all blogs,website-local or oversea. And every time I saw those pretty lil' cupcakes..my eyes would blinking and shine..Hoping that one day I would make the same one. My mom would ask me "Didn't you get fed up ? It just the same thing. It's only a cake...yeah in a small size."

Being me, I always have something to talk back...so I answered ,"Mom , it's not the same , Kalau mak tengok ,mak tahu la..macam-macam design ,bentuk,rasa tau ".
Okay I know she just concerned about me staying up late ,every night. Sampai dah ada mata panda :-s (okay esk kita sapu eye cream Dermalogica yer)



Till one day she sneaked up behind me whilst I surfed the net. "Owh apa tu, cupcake ker? Macam mana buat..cantiknya..ada ke org nak makan?Lagi-lagi mana gambar lagi..." hahahhaa tengok..baru tahu kan bertapa asyiknya tgk the sugar art.

Now, every each time , I make the batter ,and finished bake it. She will came down and said..'Wangi...sedapnye bau...boleh curi satu?" hehhee .Seriously teringat masa kecik-kecik dulu suke sangat pow kek dan biskut yg baru masak. Jilat lebihan bancuhan kek..Sibuk-sibuk dekat mixer ...kagum sungguh tgh adunan dalam mixer jadi corak2 macam bunga...

My mom is the next MASTERCHEF jury.. BETUL?Tak caye? Cayelah..sebabnya...everytime I tried a new recipe, she would threw her comments tanpa perlu disuruh... "Kenapa rasa lain, pakai butter apa?Kenapa pasang api atas dan bawah? ni banyak tepung ni...ni tak cukup pukul nie..."

Isk T_T sampai satu hari tu...punyalah mak komen,"pasal ape butter cake ni tak sama dengan haritu? "
"Mak ,orang pakai butter SCS sama macam haritu..takde satu apa pun berubah"
"yeke,hmm maybe yang nak bagi kat orang tu rasa sedap kot..sbb nak bagi kat org"
" Tak...ni mesti masa mak makan tu mak lapar sangatkan...tu yang rasa sedap sangat-sangat!" jawabku..haha

Hmm..the only thing that make me cried yesterday...not because I'm angry to that canteen's tawkeh..But I feel sad..people always takes advantage to my mom..She is so soft..tak reti nak marah...sampai ada ketikanya ada staff2 bawahan buat tak entang(tak takut).Tu dari segi buat kerja rasmi. Now business..
Berulang kali cakap dekat mak..doing business ,kita kena tegas. Tak kira la itu ur bosses ,ur staff , ur siblings or even ur closed frens. Business is business .

Hmm...takleh nak hurai panjang..sebak...

Cupcakes for Teacher's Day

My little brother gives this to his favorite teacher. Dua bekas container microwave tu dia dan kawan-kawannya melantak. Yang bagi kat cikgunya satu container besar saje..Katanya cikgu Sejarah kegemaran dia dicari-cari tak jumpa..huhuh .
Hmm terasa my lil bro dah bukan lil bro sebab pergi sekolah bawa kereta sendiri. Yelah dah Form 6 sekarang ..But he is still my little bro yang 'comel' ,yang waktu kecilnya kakak ni la yang cebokkan  ..hahahaa opssss.
Owh yeah,jangan tak tahu dia lah yang duk menolong sapu buttercream masa tempahan beratus-ratus haritu. I always can count on him.

Anyway cupcake fondant ni hanya a part of 25 pieces. Buttercream 49 biji untuk dihidangkan

masa minum petang. Masa kenduri kahwin tu ,ramailah budak-budak duk mengendeng nak satu.Even malam sebelum kenduri anak saudara si pengantin dah nangis-nangis nak cupcake.Ini hadiah dari Bonda untuk pengantin. Iols hanye tukang buat sajer..

Apa itu Buttercream ,Fondant, Chocolate Ganache

Buttercream - frosting cake yang terdiri dari gula icing,creamwell,sedikit air dan vanilla...ada juga yang meletakkan shortening atau butter..Basically buttercream frosting ni samada menggunakan cream biasa atau pun atas permintaan pelanggan boleh digantikan dengan creamchesse .Creamchesse frosting sesuai dipadankan dengan cake redvelvet  dan carrot cake.
Jadi jgn keliru...buttercream ni sama mcm cream2 atas cake yg lembut tu..membezakan rasanya ialah ada yang byk letakkan shortening atau butter..

Fondant- Perincian diatas cake yang bertekstur keras ( tapi tidak lah terlalu keras) boleh di makan.Asalnya daripada gula icing dan beberapa bahan lain..cuma bentuk awalnya adalah doh kemudian dicanai dan dibentukkan mengikut bentuk2 tertentu .Seperti bunga,rama-rama,figurine yang bermacam-macam bentuk. Kebiasaannya harga cake dengan perincian fondant adalah sedikit mahal dari buttercream kerana kerumitan dan mengambil masa yang lama untuk membentuk adunan fondant tersebut menjadi bentuk-bentuk yang pelanggan inginkan.

Chocolate Ganache-Ganache berasal dari perkataan France..Basically choc ganache ialah frosting chocolate yang disapukan atas cake dan kelihatan berkilat. Chocolate ganache mengandungi cooking chocolate,whipping cream/double cream dairy  or non dairy dan sedikit butter.
Harganya lebih sedikit dari buttercream frosting sebab menggunakan cooking chocolate .
Harap penerangan yang serba sedikit ni dapat membantu anda semua yang nak membuat pilihan pesanan.
p/s : sorry to chef2 kalau penerangan ni ala2 sahaja..sebabnya hanya untuk seisi pencerahan supaya orang-orang yang tak tahu menahu pasal dunia masakan ni tahu la serba sedikit.

 Hello World :D 

This is my first posting under Tempting Heart Blog. Frankly speaking ,I'm not a newbie in this blogging area, I used to write in my personal blog, but due to few circumstances I have to private it.Writing is my passion ,no wonder I took Journalism field in my tertiary education.  Writing and cooking ,two different things  but combination of both is such a good chemistry. When ever I stressed out with 'things' I often pour it through writing , and amazingly I found cooking works as well too.

My love and gratitude towards scrumptious tempting food endeavor me to learn more about cooking and of course baking! Looking back to the good old days, my late grandmother was the one who introduces me to the 'kitchen'. With first task as a vegetables n onion peeler, she then allowed me to cook even though I was just only 9 years old kid. And of course my mother; my pillar of strength that teaches me about baking, buying tonnes of magazines and recipe books. Though mingling with cream, butter, spatula and oven is a little bit diverse from what I've learnt in masscom and journalism school but some how I know it just runs in the blood.

Starting as a hobby and an option to unwind the stress,my best friend Ina suggest me 'why not turn it to a business?' As we both have the same interest and thought, later the TEMPTING HEART becomes our baby project.Tempting Heart is still new, like a new born baby. We just hope that Tempting Heart can endeavor all the adventurous challenge in  business field. Insya Allah..
My  mission is to provide a scrumptious cakes and cookies. Tempting Heart also here to give more options for Muslims who have doubts on the product that sold in commercialized bakery. As Muslims I am responsible and trustworthy in providing halal food to Muslim other. I am also sure with the ingredients that I used.
